Short Description:

The Terek Sandpiper (Xenus cinereus) is a migratory shorebird found in Pakistan. This species typically breeds in northern Siberia and migrates southward to spend the winter in warmer regions, including coastal areas of Pakistan.

In Pakistan, Terek Sandpipers are commonly found along coastal wetlands, estuaries, mudflats, and shallow coastal waters. During the breeding season, Terek Sandpipers display territorial behavior, but they are usually seen in loose flocks during migration and wintering periods.
