Short Description:
The Little Gull (Hydrocoloeus minutus) is a small species of gull that occasionally visits Pakistan during its migratory journeys. These birds are known for their graceful flight and distinctive appearance, with striking black heads during the breeding season and white plumage with black wingtips year-round.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
In Pakistan, Little Gulls are primarily found along the coastal areas, particularly near estuaries, mudflats, and shallow coastal waters. They are also occasionally sighted inland near freshwater lakes and marshes, especially during migration periods.
During their stay in Pakistan, Little Gulls exhibit typical gull behavior, including feeding on small fish, insects, crustaceans, and carrion. They are often observed foraging by plunge-diving or picking food from the water’s surface.
