Alexandrine Parakeet (Psittacula eupatria) is a vibrant and majestic bird species native to South Asia, including Pakistan. It is one of the largest parakeet species, measuring around 58 to 62 centimeters (23 to 24 inches) in length. This parakeet is predominantly green, with a distinctive red patch on its shoulders, blue and yellow feathers on its wings, and a broad and elongated tail. Adult males typically exhibit a black ring around their necks, while females lack this feature. Their powerful bills are adapted for cracking seeds and nuts, which form a significant part of their diet.
