In Pakistan, Caspian Terns are primarily found along coastal areas and around inland bodies of water such as lakes, rivers, and marshes. They are known to breed in colonies on sandy or rocky islands along the coast.
Caspian Terns are highly skilled fish hunters and feed predominantly on small fish which they catch by diving from the air into the water. They are known for their loud and distinctive calls, especially during the breeding season when they establish and defend their territories. These birds are migratory, with populations in Pakistan likely to migrate south during the winter months, possibly to warmer regions in the Indian Ocean.
