Collared Pratincoles are highly social birds, often seen in flocks during their migratory stopovers. They are skilled aerial foragers, feeding primarily on insects such as dragonflies, beetles, and grasshoppers, which they catch in flight. Their agile flight patterns and distinctive call, a sharp “kik-kik-kik”, make them easily identifiable.
