In Pakistan, the Great Crested Tern can be found along the coastal regions of the Arabian Sea, including sandy beaches, rocky shorelines, and offshore islands. It is primarily distributed along the southern coast of Pakistan, including areas such as Karachi, Gwadar, and other coastal regions.
Great Crested Terns are highly skilled fish hunters, utilizing their keen eyesight to spot prey from the air before diving into the water to catch fish. They are also known to feed on other marine creatures such as squid and crustaceans. Outside of the breeding season, they can often be seen foraging in large flocks along the coast, especially in areas where fish concentrations are high.
