Indian Grey Hornbill is primarily found in the northern and northwestern regions, including parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir. It inhabits a variety of forested habitats, including tropical and subtropical forests, as well as wooded areas near rivers and streams.
Indian Grey Hornbills are typically seen in pairs or small family groups. They are mainly frugivorous, feeding on a diet consisting primarily of fruits, although they may also consume insects, small reptiles, and occasionally small mammals. Their large bills are well-suited for grasping and crushing fruits.
