The Lesser Sand-Plover (Charadrius mongolus) is a migratory shorebird species found in Pakistan during the winter months. These small plovers have a pale grey-brown upper body, white underparts, and distinctive black markings on the face and breast during breeding plumage.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
In Pakistan, Lesser Sand-Plovers are commonly found along the coastline, particularly in sandy and muddy habitats such as estuaries, mudflats, and coastal lagoons. They are distributed along the entire length of Pakistan’s coastline, from the Arabian Sea in the south to the coastal areas bordering the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan.
Behaviourally, Lesser Sand-Plovers are agile foragers, frequently seen running along the water’s edge or probing the sand and mud for small crustaceans, insects, and mollusks. They often form small flocks and may engage in aerial displays, particularly during courtship or territorial disputes.
