Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
This species is primarily found in the mountainous regions of Pakistan, particularly in the northern areas such as Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. It inhabits rocky slopes and alpine meadows at elevations ranging from 2,000 to 4,500 meters above sea level.
Plain Mountain-Finches are social birds, often seen in small flocks foraging on the ground for seeds and small insects. They have a distinctive bouncing flight pattern and emit soft, tinkling calls while in flight. During the breeding season, males engage in courtship displays to attract mates, often involving fluttering flights and vocalizations. This species is primarily sedentary, with little migration observed, although it may move to lower elevations in winter to avoid harsh weather conditions in the mountains.
