Short Description:

The Sanderling (Calidris alba) is a small shorebird found in Pakistan during its wintering season. These birds inhabit coastal areas, particularly sandy beaches, mudflats, and estuaries along the coastline.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
Distribution: Sanderlings can be spotted along the shores of Pakistan, primarily in the southern regions, including Sindh and Balochistan provinces, during the winter months
Behavior: Sanderlings are highly active birds known for their swift movements along the shoreline, probing the sand for prey such as small crustaceans, mollusks, and insects. They often form small flocks, especially during high tide, when they roost together or feed in a coordinated manner. Their distinctive behavior includes running up and down the beach, following the receding waves, and probing into wet sand for food.
