Short Description:

The Spotted Dove is a small to medium-sized bird with a relatively slender body. It has a pale grayish-brown plumage overall, with darker spots or markings on the wings and back. The bird's head is often adorned with a distinctive black patch extending from the eyes to the nape. The tail is long and graduated, with white tips on the outer feathers.
