In Pakistan, they are commonly sighted in wetlands, marshes, estuaries, and coastal areas, especially along the Indus River Delta and associated wetlands.
In Pakistan, Spotted Redshanks exhibit typical behavior for their species. They forage in shallow water, probing the mud with their long bills to feed on aquatic invertebrates such as worms, crustaceans, and mollusks. During migration, they form loose flocks and can often be seen in mixed-species groups with other shorebirds.
