Short Description:
The White Stork is a large bird with a distinctive appearance characterized by a white body, black flight feathers, and a long, straight bill. During flight, its neck is extended, and its legs trail behind, giving it an elegant and soaring appearance.

White Stork is primarily observed during its migration periods, which occur during the spring and autumn. While it does not breed in Pakistan, it passes through the country en route to and from its breeding grounds in Europe and Asia, as well as its wintering grounds in Africa.
White Storks are highly migratory birds, traveling thousands of kilometers each year between their breeding and wintering grounds. During migration, they form large flocks, soaring high in the sky using thermal currents to aid their flight. They are skilled gliders and can cover vast distances with minimal effort.
