In Pakistan, sightings of the White-tailed Lapwing are relatively infrequent compared to other lapwing species. However, they can be found in certain regions during the winter months, particularly in areas with suitable habitats such as Punjab and Sindh provinces.
Behaviorally, the White-tailed Lapwing exhibits typical lapwing characteristics, including active foraging for insects, worms, and other invertebrates in muddy areas and wet grasslands. They may also be seen wading in shallow water bodies in search of food.
