Short Description:

Tickell's Leaf Warbler (Phylloscopus affinis) is a small passerine bird with olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, a pale eyebrow stripe, and a thin, pointed bill. It has a distinctive call resembling a high-pitched "tsit-tsit-tsit".

In Pakistan, Tickell’s Leaf Warbler is primarily found in the northern regions, including the Himalayan foothills and mountainous areas. It is known to inhabit forests, woodlands, and shrublands at elevations ranging from around 1000 to 3000 meters above sea level.

These warblers are highly active foragers, frequently flitting among branches and foliage in search of insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates.
