Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
The White-bellied Redstart is predominantly found in the northern regions, particularly in the mountainous areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It inhabits rocky slopes, forest edges, and streamsides at moderate to high elevations.
These birds are known for their energetic behavior, often seen hopping from rock to rock or flitting between branches near water bodies. They are territorial during the breeding season and use various vocalizations to communicate and defend their territory. Their diet consists mainly of insects and small invertebrates, which they glean from the ground or catch in mid-air. During the breeding season, they build cup-shaped nests in crevices or rock ledges, typically near running water.
