Cinereous Tit is found in various habitats including forests, woodlands, scrublands, and gardens across the country. It is distributed across the northern regions of Pakistan, including mountainous areas such as the Himalayas and Karakoram ranges. Additionally, it can also be spotted in the foothills and lower elevations of these regions.
Cinereous Tits are social birds often seen in small flocks or family groups. They are highly active and agile, frequently hopping between branches and foliage in search of insects, seeds, and small fruits. Their diet primarily consists of insects during the breeding season and seeds during the winter months. They are known for their acrobatic foraging behavior, often hanging upside down or clinging to branches while searching for food. These birds are also known to visit bird feeders, particularly in urban and suburban areas. During the breeding season, they construct nests in tree holes or nest boxes, lining them with soft materials such as moss, feathers, and fur.
