Jungle Babblers are commonly found throughout Pakistan, particularly in forested areas, scrublands, gardens, and urban parks. They are adaptable birds and can thrive in a variety of habitats, including semi-arid regions.
Jungle Babblers are highly gregarious birds, often seen in flocks of seven or more individuals, hence the nickname “Seven Sisters”. They are active and noisy birds, constantly chattering and foraging for insects, fruits, and seeds. They have a cooperative breeding system where all members of the group contribute to raising the young. Jungle Babblers are territorial and can be aggressive towards intruders, defending their territory with loud calls and displays.
