Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
In Pakistan, the Kashmir Nuthatch is primarily found in the northern regions, particularly in the mountainous areas of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. It inhabits coniferous and mixed forests at high altitudes, usually above 1,500 meters.
This bird is known for its acrobatic foraging behavior, often seen climbing up and down tree trunks and branches in search of food. It feeds mainly on insects, seeds, and nuts, which it wedges into crevices and hammers open with its bill. The Kashmir Nuthatch is also territorial, defending its feeding and nesting areas vigorously against intruders. During the breeding season, it constructs its nest in tree hollows or crevices, lining it with fur, feathers, and moss.
