Short Description:

The Little Forktail (Enicurus scouleri) is a small bird found in Pakistan, known for its distinct black and white plumage with a long, slender tail. It typically measures around 15 centimeters in length and inhabits streams and riversides in forested areas.

The Little Forktail is primarily found in the northern regions, particularly in the mountainous areas of the Himalayas and the Karakoram Range. It can also be spotted in some parts of the Hindu Kush and Sulaiman Range.

Little Forktails are agile and active birds, often seen hopping along rocks and perching on overhanging branches near water bodies. They feed on insects, larvae, and small aquatic invertebrates, which they forage for in and around the water. These birds are known for their shy and elusive nature, making them challenging to observe closely in the wild.
