Oriental Skylark inhabits a variety of habitats including grasslands, agricultural fields, scrublands, and open areas with sparse vegetation. It is commonly found throughout the country, ranging from lowlands to moderately high elevations.
Oriental Skylarks are known for their melodious songs, often heard during the breeding season. They are primarily ground-dwelling birds, foraging for seeds, insects, and other small invertebrates. Their flight is typically direct with rapid wing beats, and they often perform aerial displays during courtship. Oriental Skylarks are generally non-migratory in Pakistan, though some movements may occur in response to seasonal changes or local conditions.
