The White-winged Redstart (Myioborus albifrons) is a small, striking bird with black plumage, white wings, and a distinctive red tail. It is known for its energetic behavior and melodious song.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
The White-winged Redstart inhabits mountainous regions, particularly in the northern parts of the country, including the Himalayas and Karakoram ranges. It can be found in scrublands, forest edges, and rocky areas at higher elevations.
This species is highly active, frequently seen flitting between rocks and perches while foraging for insects. It often flicks its tail while moving, displaying its vibrant red color. During the breeding season, males engage in territorial displays and sing to attract mates. They build cup-shaped nests in crevices or among rocks. The White-winged Redstart is generally non-migratory in Pakistan, but altitudinal movements may occur in response to seasonal changes.
