Baya Weavers are highly social birds known for their intricate nest-building skills. They construct pendulous, flask-shaped nests from grass or palm leaves, typically suspended from branches. Males build these nests to attract females during the breeding season. Outside of breeding, they forage in small flocks, feeding primarily on seeds and insects.
