White-bellied Sea Eagle is a large raptor with striking plumage. Adults typically have a white head, neck, and underparts, contrasting with dark brown wings, back, and tail. Juveniles have a more mottled appearance with brown and white feathers, gradually acquiring adult plumage as they mature.

White-bellied Sea Eagle can be found along the coastline of the Arabian Sea, including estuaries, mangroves, and coastal cliffs. They are also observed near inland water bodies such as rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. While they are primarily coastal birds, they may venture inland to hunt for prey or establish territories.
White-bellied Sea Eagles are apex predators, feeding primarily on fish, although they may also hunt birds, reptiles, and small mammals. They are skilled hunters, using their keen eyesight to spot prey from high perches or while soaring overhead. They may dive steeply to catch fish near the water’s surface or snatch prey from the surface while in flight.
